Intro

Copycat is a narrative-driven game where you are a cat. While that sounds a lot like Stray, it has some sharp differences in direction as it tugs at the player’s heartstrings through the empathy we feel for the furry agents of chaos. With less than an hour spent in the demo, Copycat had already won me over during Steam Next Fest in February 2024 so there is a lot to look forward to here.

Now the game is upon us and as expected, it seems fairly well optimized so even old rigs can run it.

Copycat release date

Spoonful of Wonder announced that Copycat release date is September 19, 2024. That said, some regions will get it on September 20 due to time zone differences.

Essentially, it boils down to US and Europe getting the game on 19th and Australia, New Zealand and East Asia on 20th.

Steam didn’t list the recommended requirements for the moment but since the minimum ones are fairly modest, it’s safe to assume modern rigs will run it as smooth as possible.

SSD is not required.
