JDM: Japanese Drift Master is coming later in 2024 and when it does, the game will have another legendary brand on the roster. Meanwhile, you can play the prologue for free right now.

Nissan license

JDM landed many licenses already, such as Mazda and Subaru but one that kept fans worried was Nissan as one of the screenshots on the Steam page showed a car named “Ichiban Silvanna 15” which was an obvious placeholder or a substitute until a license would arrive for Nissan Silvia.

This also means the iconic Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 is coming, as confirmed by the imagery on the announcement itself. You can also see it in full glory on the image below.

Prologue is now available for free

You can download and play JDM: Rise of the Scorpion for free right now. This stand-alone game of smaller scope is actually the prologue for Japanese Drift Master and gives the players a taste of what they can experience when the full game arrives.

System requirements are rather fair for the modern rigs so you shouldn’t have issues racing the opponents on the beautiful streets of Japan.
