Intro and release date

Hollowbody release date is September 12, 2024. The date was announced with a brand new trailer showcasing what the game has to offer.

On top of that, the game will be available via Steam and GOG, meaning it’s DRM-free on day one.

About Hollowbody

In case you are unfamiliar with Hollowbody, it is an homage to old school survival horror titles such as Resident Evil and Dino Crisis, with the game featuring familiar camera angles, controls and even inventory UI.

While not a massive fan of horror as a genre, some gems do catch my fancy and Hollowbody was one of them. In fact, stacked against stiff competition during Steam Next Fest June 2024, this game impressed me enough to be near the top of the rating board among 63 other demos.

System requirements

Hollowbody requires 17 GB of free disk space and features PS2 era graphics which results in fairly humble system requirements.
