JDM: Rise of the Scorpion is the free prologue for the somewhat similarly named game, JDM: Japanese Drift Master, which will come at a later date. You can now play it for free via Steam.

How to play JDM: Rise of the Scorpion free

To play JDM: Rise of the Scorpion for free, simply go to the game’s Steam page and click “Play Game” which is located where the “Add to Cart” button normally be.

Rise of the Scorpion system requirements

You will not have to break the piggy bank in order to play JDM: Rise of the Scorpion as the requirements are fairly standard.

It asks for 16 GB free space, SSD not required.

About JDM: Japanese Drift Master

Japanese Drift Master is coming at some point in 2024 although there is no official release date yet. Just like the name suggests, players will compete in Japanese drift races and experience the country’s car culture.

Many licenses have been secured already, with legendary cars from Mazda and Subaru already having been confirmed. Nissan and Toyota’s participation is currently unknown, although the latter might still be touchy about the whole street racing thing.
