Intro

Mordhau is 5 years old already. Time flies but Triternion didn’t forget to thank the players for support and enjoying their game. For the 5th Anniversary, current and potential future players will see an overhauled PvE mode, a new weapon, a bunch of freebies and discounts.

Demon Horde PvE mode

Mordhau already had the Horde Mode but with the anniversary patch, it is getting a significant overhaul as it becomes Demon Horde. This means new enemies will appear to face the knightly armies who will now sport some new weaponry to help turn the tide. Blunderbuss will join the players’ arsenal so the melee game will get an FPS aspect as well.

Discounts and freebies

From April 29 to May 13, 2024, players will enjoy extra Gold and XP throughout the event. Those who log in during the event will get an exclusive in-game emblem and banner. This applies to existing players and newcomers that hop in during these 2 weeks.

As for potential newcomers, the game will be discounted by 66% during the anniversary celebration on both Steam and EGS.
