Arena Breakout: Infinite was just announced and it is not hiding the the ambitions to compete against Escape From Tarkov for a slice of the market. As such, you probably already deduced this is an extraction shooter and here is what it has in store.

According to the official announcement, the game will strive for unparalleled firearm customization and military realism while delivering visual fidelity of the highest quality. Whether it manages to achieve those goals remains to be seen and the first glimpse you can get will be the closed beta. Alternatively, you can check the screenshot gallery below.
That said, the firearm customization does sound ridiculously expansive, with around 500 accessories for every weapon. These can refer to rifle stocks, sight placement, custom barrels, muzzle brakes and more parts that will affect the firing stability, accuracy and range.
When, where and how to sign up for closed beta
Currently, there is no set date for the Arena Breakout: Infinite beta but it is coming in “early May 2024”. You can already sign up for it.
To do so, go to the official website, click the Beta Signup button in the red rectangle and then “Register for free”.
Once that’s done, you will need to type your email address and click the “Get Code” button below it. Check your email inbox, find the five-digit code and copy it into the box on the sign-up website.
Check the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and if you agree with them, check the boxes next to them, at which point the big grey “Confirm” button will become blue and you can click it to finish the beta registration.
While the full game will be available on Steam, the beta is not.

MoreFun Studios is the developer of Arena Breakout: Infinite and it is published by Tencent, which probably gives you an answer to where all the funding for such an ambitious project comes from.
