What Rise of the Scorpion brings to the table
It will expand what the previous demo offered with a new car that looks very much like Nissan 350z, open up new areas and serve to establish the story of Hatori “Scorpion” Hasashi, the game’s protagonist.
Players will also get to meet some of Scorpion’s “inner circle” such as his girlfriend, Aoi, and Ayumi, Scorpion’s friend from a private school. The crew is joined by Kaori, an artist who works at a paint shop and Scorpion will be challenged by his rival, Satoru.
Manga
JDM: Rise of the Scorpion is just the prologue and it builds the story towards the main game via manga panels while real-time events include general gameplay rather than storytelling.
