Jagged Alliance 3’s mines are the most lucrative business in town, and the game’s devs know this.

Unsatisfied with providing their players with an inexhaustible source of diamonds in the game, the devs decided to take inspiration from the real world and have each mine come with its very own “depletion countdown timer”.

Since there’s no real timer in the game itself, one would have to pay close attention and keep track of all the in-game mines and their ability to fill the player’s coffers.

This seems like a lot of work.

Thankfully, that work has already been done for us by the data miner who goes by the moniker “Audaki”, and we now have a list of mines, complete with the base income you’ll get from each one, and information on how long they will remain viable in the game.

Please make sure you check out Audaki’s other mods. Some of them may prove very “rebalancing” for your in-game experience.

Jagged Alliance 3 – mine depletion time and income values

    • Duration: 25 days
    • Base income: $5,000
  • Fosse Noire (C7U)
    • Duration: Infinite
    • Base income: $10,000
      • This mine appears to have additional income in sector C7
  • Diamond Red (A2)
    • Duration: 90 days
    • Base income: $5,000
  • Old Diamond (K10)
    • Duration: 180 days
    • Base income: $5,000
  • Drachenberg Mine (B12)

    • Duration: Infinite
    • Base income: $8,000
  • Belle Eau (D18)
    • Duration: Infinite
    • Base income: $8,000

Note that a mine’s base income figure represents the money you’ll make from it without using any modifiers, but make sure you look into them as they can score you some nifty bonuses.

So what about the infinite mines in Jagged Alliance 3? Well, the most profitable are easily the Fosse Noire and the Drachenberg Mine. They are also the most difficult to get your hands on if you haven’t yet maxed out your reputation with the communists or the Diesel problem remains unsolved.
