Square Enix promised that the “In Tanta We Trust” DLC will land before the agreed-upon summer release date, and they delivered. Not sure who signed for the package, however.

“In Tanta We Trust” is now available on PlayStation 5 and PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store). Please note that you need to own the base game in order to access “Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust” DLC.

The new DLC begs the players to give the world of Athia another chance by promising a thrilling adventure in Frey Holland’s indifferent shoes.

Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust serves as a prequel to the main game. As Frey continues her quest to eliminate the Break once and for all, she finds herself transported to the past of Athia.

There, she meets Tanta Cinta and gets a bunch of new magical abilities. Frey then gets sent out on a mission to save Athia and herself once more – but we all know how that turns out.

To achieve this, ultimately pointless goal, Frey and Tanta Cinta will have to join forces against the Rheddig armies. Players can expect some more, vertically designed environments where they will be able to give Frey’s parkour abilities another spin.

Forspoken initially launched on January 24, 2023. Players who purchased the Digital Deluxe edition of Forspoken or the Digital Deluxe Upgrade can now redeem the new DLC through the add-on’s dedicated product page. For those with the Standard Edition, the DLC can be purchased separately starting today.
