We’ve always known that TikTok’s powers are immense and that which happens to trend on the platform gets a major boost in following and name recognition.

Recently, it’s been Dumb Ways to Die’s turn in the spotlight – a fact that the powers that be took advantage of and made another sequel for a brand new batch of gamers who enjoyed the catchy tune.

What started as an Australian public campaign by Metro Trains in Melbourne to promote railway safety, quickly turned into a viral animation, and then a million dollar franchise acquired by PlaySide Studios.

We now know Dumb Ways to Die as a fun mobile game we could play for hours back in the day, and the younger generations recognize its song from the multitude of TikTok videos made using the popular sound.

The latter group now has the chance to try their hand at spreading the butter all over the frying pan, stitching that wound before the Bean bleeds out, or getting mustard on the hot dog before the Grim Reaper comes a-knockin’: PlaySide Studios is releasing Dumb Ways to Die 4.

Dumb Ways to Die 4 will officially launch on 2 May 2023 and is currently available for pre-order.

Fans of the TikTok sound and not dying in some of the dumbest ways possible can look forward to more than 60 (sixty!) minigames Dumb Ways to Die 4 will have at launch, all spread out (like that butter from earlier) across a bunch of different locations and environments.

Saving the Beans in the newest installment will also mean rebuilding Beanville as well as unlocking additional Beans who come with their very own minigame bonuses.
