Happy Friday, everyone!

We’re at the end of yet another work week and ready to go home, relax, play some games, and generally unwind. The 24-hour news cycle is stressful enough even without the feeling we have to be aware of the latest happenings in the world at all times.

That’s where we come in and offer up a quick rundown of all major happenings in the world of gaming. So here we go:

Hogwarts Legacy map leak

The Hogwarts Legacy map leak happened mere days before the game went into preloads and became available to the fans who purchased the Digital Deluxe or the Collector’s edition.

The map leak was mind-blowing due to the sheer size of the world, and all the expectations we had going into the experience. We got to see that Hogwarts Legacy will let us run around the school’s grounds, as well as Hogsmeade, and were presented with the idea that there is a bunch of additional points of interest across the huge map to discover and revel in.

It Takes Two sold over 10 million copies

One of our favorite co-op puzzle games, It Takes Two has surpassed the 10 million copies sold milestone.

Hazelight’s puzzle game was released in March 2021, had moved around 7 million copies by July 2022, and waved to the 10 million mark as it sped by in February 2023.

We can’t wait to see what’s next for Cody, May, and Dr. Hakim.

Overwatch 2 Season 3

It’s been a very Overwatch-centric week. The sequel has entered its third season with a roadmap detailing new events, fresh Battle Pass rewards, and more.

Overwatch 2’s events in Season 3 will include no less than two Valentine’s day events. One will be a non-canon dating sim only available in-browser. The other titled “Ultimate Valentine’s event” will happen in-game and include a Hanzo 4v4 Limited Time Mode and Support-themed challenges.

On top of the lovely events, Roadhog’s PachiMarchi extravaganza is coming back this year.

Overwatch 2’s Season 3 will be the last season to have map pools.
