It’s enough to make a grown woman cry.

Hogwarts Legacy is now mere days away from being unleashed upon the world and we couldn’t be more excited about getting that letter written in green ink.

While a bunch of fans are staying away from the already rampant spoilers, the recent map leak is something that got this fan hyped more than it (realistically) should have.

The 44-second-long video showcases the entire world of Hogwarts Legacy, with the option to switch between Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and the World map.

The World map is gigantic and seems to have a myriad of available waypoints that future witches and wizards will be able to explore.

By the looks of it, the Hogwarts map only showcases the castle itself and some of the most iconic locations available within its walls, such as but probably not limited to:

• The Astronomy Wing
• The Bell Tower Wing
• The Grand Staircase
• The Great Hall
• The Library Annex
• The South Wing

It also looks like the players will be able to use the Floo network to travel between the mentioned locations within Hogwarts. Eat your black heart out, Umbridge.

The Floo flames locations are missing from the leaked Hogsmeade map, but there are some named waypoints available on the right-hand side of the screen. These include:

• Collection Chests
• Field Guide Pages
• Demiguise Statues

Some map markers aren’t named but I spotted the following (going from left to right):

• Some kind of a herb merchant.
• Potions salesman.
• Stylist – the players will probably be able to customize their looks even after they’ve left the character creation menu.
• The Golden Snitch – a sports equipment shop?

Hogwarts Legacy will launch on 10 February 2023. Preloads for those who’ve already purchased a PlayStation 5 version of the game will start on 5 February for the Delux Edition, and 8 February for the Standard version of the game.
