Epic Games Store has a trio of freebies this week, although one of them is a pack filled with in-game loot rather than a game itself.

Then again, the game it’s for is free to play so there is nothing stopping your from claiming it.

Evil Dead: The Game

Survival horror from 2022, this game will let the players go up against their peers in asymmetric PvP or go through the adventures together with co-op.

The multiplayer nature of the game means you will have more than one playable character so Ash Williams isn’t your only option but it’s unclear how groovy the rest of the roster is.

Unfortunately, it requires internet connection non-stop so it’s not really friendly for on-the-go devices, like Steam Deck.

Dark Deity

Nope, the player character is not a Satan worshipper. You get to lead a team of students through a war-torn world in an attempt to figure out what the deal is with King Varic. Maybe he’s a Satan worshipper.

The game can become more difficult if your heroes don’t make it to the end so make sure to take care of them.

Epic Cheerleader Pack

This is a package of cosmetic items for Rumbleverse, a free to play battle royale brawler. If you are into such things, you might give the game a shot and if you do, there is no reason not to claim the cosmetic pack.
