Greetings, Trainers! It’s a brand new week in Pokemon GO and we have the latest on what to do and where to be from Monday (14. November) until Friday (November 18.),

The Greedy Gluttons event

The event is still live and going strong – until Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Guzzlord, the Junkivore Pokemon, is making its Pokemon GO debut in five-star raids until Wednesday, November 23, 2022. So you have some time to snag the Ultra Beast.

Event Bonuses

  • 1/2 Hatch Distance for the first three Eggs hatched during the event using the Pokemon GO Egg hatching widget. The widget is now available on iOS and Android devices. Add the widget to your device’s screen the same way you’d add any other widget.

Wild encounters

The following Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild until Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time:

  • Alolan Rattata*
  • Alolan Raticate
  • Golbat
  • Swinub*
  • Pelipper
  • Gulpin
  • Bidoof*
  • Bibarel
  • Skwovet

The lucky Trainers out there might encounter:

Field Research task encounters

Complete the Field Research tasks to get a chance at an encounter with the following Pokemon:

Timed Research

Trainers who complete Timed Research will be rewarded with a bevy of goodies, including Golden Razz Berries and Silver Pinap Berries, as well as an encounter with Snorlax.

The Greedy Gluttons event

Team GO Rocket takeover event in Pokemon GO

Team GO Rocket will take over Pokemon GO starting on Monday, November 14, 2022, at 12:00 a.m., but their success will be short-lived as the event winds down on Thursday, November 17, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Save Shadow Mewtwo

Giovanni is not immune to greed and ambition so this time, he’s channeled it into using Shadow Mewtwo in a Special Research story available on Monday, November 14, 2022. Advance the story to get a Super Rocket Radar, and chase down the rascal Giovanni.

The Special Research will be available until the end of the Season of Light on December 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Shadow Pokemon

Team GO Rocket Grunts and their leaders Sierra, Cliff, and Arlo are also using different Shadow Pokemon to achieve their nefarious goals. Trainers will need to help Spark, Blanche, and Candela overcome their adversaries and rescue the Shadow Pokemon.

Team GO Rocket has turned the following Pokemon into Shadow Pokemon and defeating the Team GO Rocket Grunts will save them:

  • Shadow Alolan Diglett
  • Shadow Onix
  • Shadow Natu
  • Shadow Wailmer
  • Shadow Golett

Event Bonuses

  • Team GO Rocket will be appearing more frequently at PokeStops and in balloons.
  • You can use a Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokemon forget the Charged Attack Frustration.

Eggs

The following Pokemon can currently only be hatched from 12 km Eggs: Sandile, Pawniard*, Vullaby*, Pancham, and Salandit.

You can earn 12 km Eggs by defeating Team GO Rocket leaders. For the first time in Pokemon GO, the luckiest of Trainers will be able to hatch a Shiny Pawniard.

The following Pokemon will hatch from 12 km Eggs:

  • Larvitar*
  • Absol*
  • Skorupi*
  • Scraggy
  • Deino*
  • Skrelp

Field Research

A Field Research task awarding a Mysterious Component will be available.

* Keep an eye out for a Shiny version of the indicated Pokemon.
