Intro

Stalker 2 launch trailer has just been published and revealed the return of a fan-favorite, Strelok, the protagonist of the first Stalker game ever. While he was the protagonist in just the first the game of the trilogy, he had significant appearances in the following two games, which is why the fans eagerly anticipated his potential reveal in Stalker 2.

Strelok in Stalker 2

One of the most prominent stalkers ever to step into the Zone, Strelok even made friends with the military, who are usually hostile to everyone not wearing their uniform.

In the Stalker games’ canon, his contributions to the government led to the creation of SIRCAA, the organization which will play a significant role in Stalker 2. The organization was responsible for Operation Zenith, in which even the fiercest of rivals among the Zone’s factions made a truce for a joint attack, attempting to capture Generators in the far north.

Strelok was an interesting character already but with all the SIRCAA mess, there is just more mystery surrounding him, giving us plenty to look forward to in Stalker 2.

One more protagonist missing

With Scar and Strelok revealed in different trailers, Major Degtyarev is the only one missing from this big reunion that sees so many returning characters. Considering the increased involvement from the government, it is highly likely he will make an appearance as well.
