Intro

Delta Force is coming to Open Beta on December 5, 2024, and the devs want to introduce the players to some of the content that will arrive with it. This includes three maps, one of which is infantry-only, another is a replica of an old map and one is somewhat new.

New maps

Shafted is likely the highlight of the new map showcase. It doesn’t have much to do with the map’s architecture but rather the fact that it is the infantry-only map, meaning only mano-a-mano firefights, no vehicles included.

Trench Lines is based on a classic Delta Force map, although you would be forgiven if you don’t remember it. After all, Battlefield and especially Call of Duty were more popular multiplayer titles so even classic maps from the series didn’t get all that much spotlight.

Threshold is inspired by Gibraltar but it is a new map for all intents and purposes. That said, there is not much wrong with the existing maps in the game so we are in for a lot of fun hours, be it in vehicles or on foot.

Open Beta and full release

As we mentioned previously, Open Beta will kick off in early December 2024. It will continue for a full season’s length at which point the game should transition into the full release.
