Deadlock’s 110k milestone
Deadlock is a hero shooter so green that its Steam sorefront looks barer than our “Latest ” page on a dry Monday. However, game, currently under construction over at Valve, has managed to rake in over 110 thousand concurrent players.
Anyone interested in taking Deadlock out for a spin will need to have some seriously awesome friends, as access to the game is currently limited to friend invites via Valve’s own playtesters.
That said, seems like the invitation isn’t as hard to come by as the number of concurrent players has beentrending upward ever since it suddenly tripled on August 25.
Check out the current number of Deadlock’s concurrent players on SteamDB.

About Deadlock
According to its Steam storefront, Deadlock is still in early development stages with lots of temporary art and experimental gameplay. BUT, according to its Wikipedia page, it is a 6v6 MOBA-shooter mashup.
The game has been under the vigilant eyes of playtesters since 2023, with the option for the players to invite their own friends to the third person shooter party. However, even though it has been in the playtesting phase for at least nine months now (awww, it’s just a baby), its popularity is staring to reach fever pitch and take over the digital news stands.
Join us in a couple of hours when we report that Deadlock has surpassed 120k concurrent players on Steam.
